Seal Hunting

Number one, I am sick and tired of animals rights people changing the way trappers trap, the way hunters hunt, and the way seal hunters kill seals. We keep giving in to them, making the way animals are killed fit the animal rights people's beliefs about how things ought to be done when it comes to killing and not killing animals. This will sound cruel, and I don't care, but a trapper should be able to kill his catches any way he damn well chooses, even if that means clubbing his catches. If a seal hunter wants to beat seals over the head, that is his prerogative. I am tired of the politically correct animal rights movement trying to take the men out of men. Men have always killed animals, since the days when he bludgeoned them to death to when he used rifles. And the stark reality is, men like killing animals. It's a guy thing. Nothing to be ashamed of, and the government should not be in the business of telling us how to kill animals when animals are hunted, trapped for fur, meat, pest control, etc. Yes, there is a thing called animal cruelty; that is when someone tortures a cat or dog or some animal not meant to be killed for sport, food, or fur, and he does it for no other reason but for malice and cruelty. All other animals are fair game, and if the hunter or trapper enjoys the kill while harvesting the animal for the benefit of man, all the power to him. Give him a cigar!
